There are very few books that ask you to slow down, read a few pages, and feel. "Karishma Kudrat Ka" is surely one of them books for me as it speaks with simplicity, sincerity, and emotional honesty. That is what stayed with me long after I finished reading it.

The title, Karishma Kudrat Ka ("A Miracle of Nature"), reflects the soul of the book. It is not merely about one girl; it is about innocence, identity, resilience, love, womanhood, hope, and the quiet beauty hidden in everyday life.

Smriti Gautam writes as if she is having a heartfelt conversation rather than trying to prove herself as a poet. That natural voice becomes the soul of the book.

The seamless blend of English and Hindi allows emotions to flow in the language that expresses them best. Rather than feeling divided, the two languages complement each other beautifully, making the collection accessible while preserving cultural depth.

The inclusion of real photographs adds another personal layer to the reading experience. Instead of functioning as decorative elements, they create a visual diary that makes the poems feel even more intimate.

It feels less like reading someone else's poetry and more like flipping through cherished memories accompanied by heartfelt reflections.

Among the English poems, I Am Your Daffodil stood out for its gentle symbolism and warmth. It captures affection and hope with understated elegance, allowing the reader to interpret its imagery in deeply personal ways.

Among All Odds carries a quiet strength that speaks of perseverance without becoming overly dramatic. It reminds us that resilience often grows silently, even when life appears uncertain.

The Hindi poems leave an equally lasting impression. Naari Teri Ajab Kahani is a thoughtful tribute to womanhood. Instead of relying on grand declarations, it reflects the emotional strength, sacrifices, and grace that define countless women's lives.

Somnath Ki Dhara beautifully blends spirituality, heritage, and devotion, creating imagery that feels both rooted and timeless.

Throughout the collection, themes of self-discovery, love, longing, empathy, and personal growth appear repeatedly yet each poem approaches them with a fresh perspective.

The language itself remains uncomplicated, making the book approachable for both regular poetry readers and those who are just beginning to explore the genre.

I wanted to appreciate how relatable the poems felt. They touch emotions that many people experience but rarely express - Self-doubt, quiet victories, unspoken affection, nostalgia, faith, and the search for one's own identity.

Karishma Kudrat Ka is best enjoyed slowly. It is the kind of book you carry to a quiet corner, read over a cup of tea, revisit after a long day, or open randomly whenever you need a few moments of calm. Every poem offers a pause from the noise of everyday life.
