Grace does an excellent job of staying true to the conventions of the quite. There's a clear, methodical investigation, multiple suspects, and a carefully woven trail of clues, all set within a tightly-knit, atmospheric environment.
Lucifera, as a protagonist, is a standout character. She's intelligent, observant and unflinchingly methodical, yet also possesses a distinct emotional depth that adds complexity to her character.
Dora Grace captures a classic almost nostalgic atmosphere with vivid descriptions of the settings, while the latter half of the book delivers satisfying twists and Revelations, the beginning may feel a little slow to some readers.
In conclusion, "Love Is Blind" is a charming and well-crafted example of a traditional detective novel, filled with clever clues, a strong lead investigator, and plenty of intrigue. Fans of classic whodunnit will find much to enjoy in lucifera Indica's first outing.
